Arunachal Pradesh  

Arunachal Pradesh is a thinly populated hilly tract lying on the Northeast part of India. It comprises an area of 83,573 Sq km with a population of 1,091,117 (As per 2001 census). Arunachal Pradesh also known as "Land of Rising Sun", is much celebrated for its natural beauty. Most of the communities in Arunachal Pradesh are ethnically similar and have derived from and original (this expression is not clear). Their geographical isolation from each other has brought amongst them certain distinctive characteristics in language, dress, and customs.

Arunachal Pradesh is moving ahead with a mission to take Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to every village and to every citizen of Arunachal Pradesh. Arunachal Pradesh has launched e-Governance initiatives in various sectors including education, public health, tourism, agriculture, water supply, electricity, Telecommunication, public distribution, and transportation to benefit people. Some of the key initiatives of Arunachal Pradesh are e-Suvidha, eArik and Community
